This will be the last post of 2016. It has been a wonderful year of sharing ideas &, hopefully, helping you in your teaching & business side of your studio.
A Chance to Recharge
For the next week, I’ll be spending time with my family & recharging. Every break from teaching, I make a point of stepping back from my business at least part of the time. I’ve discovered it is the perfect method for falling back in love with my work!
In fact, today we are going as a family (including my parents) to see “The Nutcracker” ballet. Last year, my mother-in-law & I went as a special girls afternoon together. It was my first time ever going to the ballet & I was enchanted from the first note. Today, I am hoping to pass on that enchantment to our boys!
And, beyond the ballet? I have a feeling Wii bowling, lots of board games, a whole lot of dancing & even celebrating a couple birthdays will be happening in the weeks ahead. In between lots of eating yummy food, of course.
A Look Ahead to 2017
In the first post of 2017, I will be sharing my goals for the rest of this academic year. A new year always seems like the perfect time to reflect & determine if the path we are on is the one we truly want. By sharing those goals, I also hope that you will help keep my accountable.
The other super important part of the first 2017 post will be a short survey. To ensure that these posts are as useful to you as possible, I would greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time in sharing what will help you the most in the new year.
As you think through your goals for the new year, is there anything that I can do to help?
